Arthur Johnsen Gallery
We are a group of artists residing on the Big Island, and we rotate shifts so that you can actually come in and meet us. We create and show figurative, landscape, representational, abstract, mixed media paintings and prints, full of local color. Unique cards and inkjet prints can be found here that are shown nowhere else in the state. Exquisite hand carved gourds, ceramics, sculpture, and jewelry are just a few of the gift items and treasures available for the discriminating buyer.
The gallery is open Monday through Friday, 11 to 5, and is located just uphill from Koehnen’s interior design emporium at the north end of Hilo’s bayfront. We can open on weekends or earlier hours by appointment: please call 965-7642 (A. Johnsen).
